Community Building
The Community Building is provided to individuals and non-profit organizations to host activities and celebrations for a nominal fee.
Rental includes the use of our facility for the entire day of your scheduled event. A kitchen is available for your use with a microwave, stove, and refrigerator. There are 2 rooms which hold 152 people. We provide you with tables and chairs to accommodate 110 guests.
* No smoking or alcohol is permitted on the premises. Pets/Animals are prohibited.

Scheduling and Fees for Community Building
- Rental fee $75/per day along with a $100 refundable deposit, as long as cleaning guidelines are met upon inspection.
- Contact City Hall for availability at (620) 429-2159 or by email at .
- Within 7 days of the scheduled event, we require a signed rental agreement and fees to be turned in to City Hall during office hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Keys will be issued at this time.
- Keys are to be returned the next business day following the event. Deposits will be refunded once the building has passed inspection per rental guidelines.
- Décor may be placed on walls only using tape to avoid damage.
Community Building Rental Guidelines
- Return tables and chairs to their storage locations, please do not drag tables across the floor. Tables and chairs are not to be removed from the building.
- Floors must be swept including the hallway, kitchen, and restroom.
- Mop if necessary.
- Trash must be taken out to the dumpster located behind the building. Replace liners.
- Remove all decorations and tape.
- The thermostat should be reset to 60 degrees in Winter and 80 degrees in Summer.
- Turn off all lights and lock the doors.
